ReadSmart+OCR 4 is a step up from simple code reading. It uses the Cognex In-Sight 2800 vision platform to combine traditional machine vision tools with AI-supported inspection. We integrate the camera, lighting and software control into the marking process, so the system reads challenging Data Matrix codes and inspects human-readable characters after marking.
ReadSmart+OCR 4 suits laser and dot peen marking applications where lighting, surface finish or mark contrast make inspection more difficult. Its light module improves image quality and inspection stability across challenging component materials and mark types.
