Bench Laser
The Bench Laser is Pryor’s benchtop laser marking and engraving machine, used across a wide range of industries for marking, engraving, etching and traceability applications.
The latest version is now supplied as standard with a MOPA laser source. MOPA (Master Oscillator Power Amplifier) provides independent control over pulse width, which broadens the range of materials and finishes the machine can produce, including high-contrast black marking on stainless steel and colour marking on anodised aluminium. The Bench Laser is now available in three power options, starting at 30W and rising to 50W and 100W, allowing the machine to be matched to the marking speed and mark depth each application requires.
Supplied with Pryor’s Traceability Software, this bench top laser marking machine integrates into existing production and quality systems. An optional touchscreen controller is also available, making the machine simpler to operate and layouts faster to create at the point of use.

Beyond marking, the Bench Laser works as a bench top laser engraving machine and laser etching system, and serves as a capable bench top laser engraver for part identification, data matrix codes, serial numbers, logos and decorative engraving on metals and plastics.

The Bench Laser now comes with MOPA sources as standard. We offer a range of different powers to suite your marking and production requirements
- 30W MOPA (Standard Option) – The 2026 update to include a MOPA source as standard for the Bench Laser range puts the Pryor system at the top of the list with regards to marking capabilities. For more information on what a MOPA source is, please visit our recent blog post
- 50W MOPA – A higher powered source applications where cycle time is a priority
- 100W MOPA – The highest powered source available for the Bench Laser introduces a higher single pulse energy and a frequency range double that of the 30W and 50W options. Ideal for those extreme applications
